I am currently discussing with a science organization about BlueSky vs Mastodon. Is there a good (and reasonable) article that describes the issues one needs to think about?
My key points are usually ownership and openness. In Particular BSky is not really integrated with the Fediverse and you can be locked in eventually (and, of course, it is a company that is run by some investors). I saw some good articles come by here, but can’t find them anymore. Can you help ?

BSky is centralised, owned by a for-profit corporation, its CEO and most of its board are blockchain/cryptocurrency people. Its funding comes from Venture Capital firms who expect a massive return.
These are major red flags.
The claim by BSky to be decentralised isn't true, they say it MIGHT be decentralised in the future. And the form of decentralisation they've chosen heavily favours corporations running the infrastructure.
There is no community ownership in BSky.
