@gamingonlinux as long as they don't enshitify their browser, who cares.
@RavenPunk @gamingonlinux Mozilla: Hold my beer.

@gamingonlinux what in the actual fuck ? Jeeeez Ladybird & Servo can't arrive soon enough.
-
@gamingonlinux to which browsers can I switch now?
@holgero @gamingonlinux Been using Librewolf for months and I'm happy with it, but would only recommend it to privacy minded and tech-savvy users, because some of the privacy measures they implemented can break some pages.

@gamingonlinux At the same time as Mullvad have doubled down on being scumbags too... (Mozilla VPN is powered by Mullvad). Great timing

@gamingonlinux Too many critics of Mozilla on Fediverse. They're more comfortable with the fascists.

@gamingonlinux The only positive that I can think of is that it can help reach new users on that platform. Many people already on Mastodon are aware of Firefox to some degree, so just posting here doesn't help them grow their userbase.

@gamingonlinux don’t care about Twitter, and I’ll still use Firefox cuz I ain’t no Chrome bitch.

@doragasu @holgero @gamingonlinux You could also check out Waterfox which like Librewolf is based on Firefox, but a bit less intense about its privacy features (doesn't auto delete all cookies upon restart, etc.)

@gamingonlinux probably went back because nobody on Fedi was jumping to defend the bullshit their social media team was posting
-
@codecat @gamingonlinux Comedy is legal again...
@pawv @codecat @gamingonlinux Musk was right when he said he was "bringing back comedy" or whatever it was. He's given us a warrent to laugh at how utterly pathetic the man is.

@gamingonlinux I just noticed, a couple of days ago, that I haven't opened Firefox in... I'm not honestly sure when. Weeks? I seem to have successfully migrated to Waterfox.
"That's nice," I thought at the time.
Now, I'm *much* happier about that. Hells, yes!

️ @FirefoxOfficial (it isn't fully up and running yet)Right, I imagine running back to the CP generator was a bigger priority.

@gamingonlinux Quite disappointed. Mozilla, in general, is working hard to make us stop supporting them.

0. 0 is wiw. Have fun with the bots and the CSAM producers over there.Maybe you could fix the bugs in Firefox iOS instead of smarming over here. It's just a shell over Safari's engine and it's still an embarrassment.

@sexybenfranklin @holgero @gamingonlinux Biggest problems I had with Librewolf are that timezone spoofing caused calendar apps to display wrong time, and having webgl disabled by default also makes some webs to fail. Both can be toggled on a page by page basis (or globally if you do not care about them), but if you do not know about these issues, it can be confusing seeing some webs not working and not knowing how to fix the issue..

A japanese browser? Do they make it easy to follow development notes?Yes all patch notes are in English. I don't speak any Japanese and have no issues. It's Firefox under the hood but with many extra features.
