FWIW You can use Signal instead of WhatsApp all or some of the time (if you're still using. I deleted it the day Facebook bought it, & Twitter the day Musk bought it).

@Colgrace Welcome - hope you enjoy it here - I'm also on Bluesky, LinkedIn and the dreaded Facebook but definitely find I'm left in a much better mood after looking at my Mastodon feed than the others. My profile pic is our Hungarian rescue Freddie. I get a bit worked up about politics, lack of democracy and inequality. A fan of Douglas Adams - definitely one we lost too early...
