• Oracle stock downgraded to near-junk status
• Anthropic & OpenAI IPOs delayed
• widespread and politically diverse datacenter backlash; DC buildouts scuttled by local communities
• Character.ai bankruptcy

Should we include the settlement with publishers for their authors whose works were provably plagiarized? Feels like that got absorbed as a cost of doing business and didn't generalize into GenAI companies being sued for the remainder of their thieving. But maybe it still counts as one of the first dominoes to fall?
