There is a *special joy* that comes from growing a tree. There is *another special joy* that comes when you find an animal finding refuge in a tree that one has grown. Here is a terrible picture to illustrate:

@nuwagaba2 I’ve got a small space for now, so just mango and avocado trees. Every fruit I eat I stick the seed in soil and just see what grows from there. I live in a really hot river plain so not everything wants to grow here.

I like your perseverance towards creating life from such hot river plains. I believe you would have done something great if you had favourable climates and a large space. We're as well struggling to make our crops survive from the devastating drought that has already destroyed many gardens.

@nuwagaba2 I believe this perseverance will see both us and our gardens through the challenging times ahead. A garden is more than one season. Good luck and may the waters reach you!

The waters might have been too late. There's a farmer in our village who has been depending on the food grown from his garden to feed his grand children. Unfortunately, when the drought came, it destroyed all his crops both the mature ones and the ones that are still maturing. We seek a way to support him with food for at least two months until he can be able o harvest from his garden again. Have you had people being affected that way over there?

@MamaLake@beige.party we have a colony of ants and some really tiny snails living, and some sparrows who come to eat seeds so they count?
