The Royal Tyrrell Museum is probably the best museum I've ever been to. Completely unapologetic, fully scientific presentations on evolution, Earth's history, extinction, and it even ends with a powerful statement on climate change. With the added bonus of many children (and some adults...perhaps me...) completely losing their minds over cool dinosaurs. WOW.

Definitely go to this museum if you're ever anywhere near Alberta!!

We also saw tens of thousands of snow geese flying through the skies and resting by lakes in gigantic fields of grain and canola stubble. And snow. Back to snow.

My trusty Saskatchewan travel mug (which I got for being in a Sask tourism video shoot), held many flat whites while I was visiting New Zealand. But now it's returning to the real Flat White: Saskatchewan. The #ProfSamLectureTour will be fully completed by the end of the day today.

          #BabyGoatCountdown is at 7 days!

@sundogplanets I had family in Drumheller when I was a kid, so we used to go regularly. Such amazing memories, that place is incredible!

Drumheller itself it also beautiful, that drive into town through canyons.. just so damn cool

@sundogplanets Heck, go to Alberta just to go to the museum! The Borealopelta exhibit containing the mummified Ankylosaur was incredible. The armor! The skin! The story behind its discovery. The whole museum is indeed the best I've ever been to.

@sundogplanets Favorite place for family vacations. We also had a visit, years ago to Drumheller excavation sites. Tyrell is a multi day visit.

@sundogplanets I love to hear this!! I did a project in a Uni class (management) last year on the Royal Tyrrell and hope to visit one day. It’s a life goal… that and seeing all of the Drumheller area. 🙂

I’m so happy you enjoyed it!!
