@tillybridges I think I posted about this before, but my daughter was the biggest fan as a kid. Knew all the details of the books, could quote them, got mad at the movies for "getting it wrong," played the games, etc.

And as they've been broadcast pretty much every Christmas since they were made** I think HBO have overestimated the audience numbers

@tillybridges As a former fan, it's long past its time; let it die. Fandom is what keeps a story relevant. I've deleted all my old HP fics years ago. Don't engage with the fandom, don't read HP fanfics either, because these are the things that keep it alive enough for HBO to decide to produce that series to begin with.
