First, fuck anyone who thinks it is reasonable to use sanctions to preserve genocide.

Second, if the USA wanted to use sanctions as a threat, we should not have pissed off the entire world with Trump's trade wars, executing random fishermen in international waters, executing protesters, etc.

Sanctions only work when you can convince other countries to join you.

@Khrys Det må glede Jens Stoltenberg at IT-gigantene nå er trygge og at USA har gjort Francesca Albanere til (et levende) "ikke-eksisterende menneske" uten mulighet for bankkort, reise, hotellovernatting m.m. Nå kan han reversere de politiske endringene han innførte for Norges Bank og pensjonsfondets etiske retningslinjer og Etikkrådet uten å frykte at han må trekke penger ut folkemordsprofitørene i IT-bransjen.

@Khrys going after software companies is the issue, every country must now agree to not use software as a weapon of control, or they're admitting they reserve the choice of using it as a weapon of control. Software companies are like, "We make software, we don't dictate how it's used." Just aggregating potentialities for people to play with. Everyone's being heat mapped into a 3 dimensional digital array, discoverable by a multitude of any metric imaginable. It's no wonder we're in an arms race for AI dominance. Who's surveillance curtain does one want to live behind? Yikes.
