@not2b @taylorlorenz Yes they both post a lot of cross post stuff. However, George Takei was an early touchstone for Mastodon users when it was very new and feeds were sparse.

His current contributions seem less valuable outside cross posting content but he is 88 years old now. If that is still him posting one liners, power to him.

Please don't forget to mention that in many mastodon servers there is a rule that you cannot "annoy" people, yes it's as arbitrary as it sounds. As you could imagine the simple fact of disagreeing with someone in the comments (even if is made with absolute respect and rationality) will annoy that person so you can be banned for that. The consequence is that some mastodon branches aren't a place to discuss rationally, only a place where you show off your opinions and there is no debate admitted about it.

Thanks, Logan. #HashTagGames just went through a server crash and we had to use Fediverse magic for a week or so and the games went out without a hitch to the many players that come out at 9pm EST every night since fall 2022 to play the game live. I learned extra benefit to the Fediverse and how it operates in that ordeal...
