@peter
Why am I reminded of this scene from The IT Crowd. -

@peter With this in a presentation i'm never sure if this was really an accident or if this is part of a clever marketing strategy. Like the Bluescreen in Gates' presentation. Or the "forgotten" IPhone prototype in a bar. Just to create a memorable incident to lead more views towards and focus on the product and to stay in the discussions, make it unforgettable.

@peter Thank you for that, it was an excellent series of laughs. The little hand held up! The shroud! They were very quick with the shroud.

@KanaMauna @peter If that had happened before, it tells a lot about management decisions to keep using a robot that is known to collapse suddenly.
@autiomaa @KanaMauna @peter well, it didn’t explode like the other ones did. Still the best choice.

@peter I love how it dramatically raises its hand in the end. As if someone programmed it with basic theatre class.

@peter man, you people just expect things to last forever. It’s a box delivering robot, it delivered a box, throw it away already. What were you going to do, try and have it carry a second box? You’re just being cheap.
That’s how I imagine rich people anyway.
-
@peter The decision to cover it up like it's a dead body...

@peter love how it's standard practice at these demos to have people standing by, ready to swoop in with a shame tarp

@peter Robot tired. Robot sleep.
It‘s very unfortunate that the robot didn‘t say anything like „low on battery“.
