@Tom_c_watson Welcome back! Strongly advise you follow @FediTips for a steady stream of excellent advice on how to make the most of the fedi! It's the only account for which I have notifications permanently switched on. Every time I think I know everything there is to know, they prove me wrong!
There's also loads of carefully-researched follow lists on their website, which I found tremendously useful as a newcomer.
