      @samlitzinger and here is the reason that many people are cynical about court victories, tighter regulations, or potential local govt assistance

        @samlitzinger the courts ruled 4,400 times that they can’t do it and ICE decided once it didn’t have to listen. Looks like the courts dont actually have any authority

          @samlitzinger The enforcement mechanisms rely on executive branch compliance.

          This is why the unitary executive theory is so dangerous. Once the executive branch stops treating courts as authoritative, what you're left with is dictatorship.

          And any forceful disagreement becomes one sided civil war.

            Who's gonna take the buck? Someone needs to be punished for their crimes already

              They double down (times 2200) on violence and will not stop yet must be stopped.

                @samlitzinger

                Seems like the perfect chance to see if the death penalty is or is not a deterrent. The next time a court rules that ICE have jailed someone illegally, the ICE perps will be executed. If we don't know the perps' names for some reason, their local commanders or whoever above them can be identified will be executed. Even if the only known person in the entire ICE chain of command is Kristi 'slay-a-puppy' Noem, the rule holds.

                Let justice prevail.

                  Waiting for the class action suits that bankrupt the regime.
