The money would be better spent making sure there are non-US alternatives to the systems that handle critical information.

Usable operating systems and office software, compliant with GDPR and accessibility requirements, would make moving off of Microsoft and Google products easier.

@HennaVirkkunen Meanwhile, Europe is on fire, we have extreme #droughts and #heatwaves, farmers don't have enough water. In France, they have to take off nuclear stations because no more cooling water. In Spain, datacenters already cause desertification.
How blind and unresponsable politics can be???
