True. I'm teaching Vimes again this semester and I'm absolutely loving it.
I'm about to dig into the witches series and I'm fairly certain I will leave with Granny Weatherwax as a strong comptetitor for the title when I am done.

It's some of the best fun I have all year. The students pick up something that looks like an airport novel and don't know why we're going there, and then they find out as we move through it. And in the end they end up knowing exactly why.
Live the dream. I'll gladly supervise a senior PhD on Pratchett.

I've read the Discworld series, so I'm going to sneak into Death's house and steal a look at my hourglass. Might snoop through a few of the books in the library too. Much more accurate, and it wouldn't violate *my* privacy.

A Pratchett post.doc. would be deeply interesting, too. There's the recurrent problem with funding and hiring - since we don't have the Ramkin's fortune available - but the topic itself is absolutely viable.
