@randahl @hadon I hope he also reminded everybody that Trump ALWAYS backs down when faced with opposition.

Right now, even as people are slowly starting to call him out for being the bully that he is, many are still afraid that the bully will hurt them if they stand up - but bullies never do. They're always cowards, relying on your fear alone to give them power.

@jwcph Or even if we do get hurt - how is that different from the hurt he's already doing to the world.

It will be interesting to see what happens at Davos. It's sure that he will be confronted.

@Remittancegirl @randahl @hadon That as well - even if we do get hurt, we have a plan for ending it, while the hurt he inflicts never stops, it only gets worse.

                Ed Davey is absolutely right.
It's decision time: Bow or live as slave, or stand up and push back while you still can. I have faith in the Brits not to bow...we are all Europeans, after all.

It's not a normal situation. British politics is not set up to handle the situation where that's a thing that has to be said out loud about a powerful ex-ally without any diplomatic sugar coating, so they take a bit of time to work up to it.

@randahl @hadon See, I'd be more inclined to trust the establishment-class if I hadn't just watched them all give a warm welcome to the most smug chisto-fascist that has ever walked the planet.

Hoyle nodding along to what was essentially a declaration of a push towards tyranny.

I'm sure the neolibs will put up a good fight, though. Just like they did in the US.

The pretense that we live in a functioning democracy is pretty insulting tbh.

Corrupt, or even worse, but what should at the same time be thought about the people which elected him, even twice?

That's a different topic, I wouldn't say voters were corrupt, there are other adjectives more suitable to describe them 😄 😄 😄
