[Also shoots their own religious interest in the leg. Israel and Jews all around the world are among the strongest advocates for preservation of (Jewish) cemetaries, pleading against demolishing such sites for urban development all around the globe. I really can't imagine the damage this may cause to their cause.]

@kibcol1049 Yes, the Batsh cemetery was bulldozed to exhume remains, and 750 bodies were recovered from the cemetery.
This is a regrettable act that violates the sanctity of graves and pains both history and human memory -

Sadly, the disgraceful bulldozing of war graves will cause more of a stir in our political establishment than the bulldozing of living people has done. -
