@Nickiquote I see this and I raise you a picture of the flying arse in flight
@stavvers @Nickiquote That's called butt-lifting.

The "Trump Pooping on Americans" meme was funny, but I didn't think he'd commission the military to actually make an aircraft to poop on Americans, because that is a BUTT.

Stand down, everyone. Wikipedia has got this.
Well, it's so clear!
Amazing that they designed it like this. I can hardly imagine no one saw this, which would make it even funnier. -
Deary me.
They also have interesting facts, mentioned in this article as fact number six:
"6. This is very important
Poop eating isn’t just great fun, it’s also really important. On land, it’s how faecal matter gets turned into plant food, but in the ocean, things are a bit different." -
Don't show these to JD Vance.

@Nickiquote It can stay airborn for up to 5 days, unless its stuck in whatever this is.
@PaulaToThePeople @Nickiquote It was in the hangers at Cardington, Bedford UK, they are massive, apparently can have their own weather inside.

Okay but, is it… meant to look like that?
And they say there’s no design for beauty anymore!
-
Deary me.
funny that the part that really perplexes me is a *worm* that is *round*

Okay but, is it… meant to look like that?
@Nickiquote why do you think pilots are so good at their stuff, they wanna fuck em. every fallen plane is a dead wife

You question the flying war arse? -

@Nickiquote I'm seeing a bunny. I'm choosing a bunny!
That's because you're pure of heart and mind Shelly.
Which is frankly a miracle given some of the reprobates you fraternise with on here (naming no names).

@TwoClownsEating @Nickiquote I just try to believe in the best of everything =D

I don't know this specific design, but typically airships operate at very low pressure - relying on the low density of helium for buoyancy and only a fraction of a PSI to maintain the shape of the envelope.
I know of an observation balloon that became untethered in Iraq around 2006. The US military shot many holes in it trying to prevent it from drifting away, but the gas leaks out very slowly.
It's a bit like trying to open a plastic blister pack with a pushpin.
@swope @Nickiquote @BobLefridge which makes perfect sense. If opening a hole would shoot them in the opposite direction while reducing altitude, that’s how they would land them. They would line it up a couple miles out and pull the plug. They’d need tail hooks, it’d be crazy.
