I haven't seen The Thing Expanded but'll give that a go. If they're going to do another about The Terminator, that could be very interesting to.

@UKFilmNerd Exactly. What is the point of 2nd hand accounts and hearsay. If a person wasn't directly involved, I'm simply not interested in their "interpretation" of things. You rarely see detail about the Golden Age because a director's process was his intellectual property.

@wendigo The Aliens Expanded documentary is 4½ hours long, and even though I didn't finish it, I feel that they used those kind of interviews to pad it out so to speak.

@UKFilmNerd I need to watch the one about The Thing, but it needs to come down in price.

@UKFilmNerd Are you saying there's another Aliens doc, besides the almost 3 hours of "The Beast Within" or whatever it's called?
- because me, I don't need any more than that. I'm also happy with the one that's on my "The Thing" DVD, don't need any more of that either

@jwcph I've just seen that The Thing Expanded is about 5hrs 15 mins. I think that's actually putting me off.
