Thanks to massive public protests, Albania has frozen Jared and Ivanka's resort plans that aimed to turn a protected national marine reserve into an exclusive private playground for global elites, and launched a criminal investigation.

This victory for citizen-led activism proves that the people's collective voice can successfully overpower backroom deals and protect sovereign land.

The people spoke, and the
government had to listen.
