The good thing about being back in the office and in front of my laptop all day is Inbox Zero can be maintained in a much more constant state.

Did my semi-annual purge and ‘unsubscribe’ from spam as well. With not too many faculty back yet, my email is currently feeling both slim *and* calm.

How many of the folks reading this are Inbox Zero People (ie. heavy email filterers)

@chris I'm close, only one of my email accounts has an unread in the inbox. The day's not over yet.

@chris I'm in your group! I don't have a strict rule to get to zero every day, although it definitely is preferable that once I read the email, I archive it and transfer any actions to a next action list. Sometimes I allow it to stay in the inbox while I get something done needed to be able to answer it etc. Zero stuff in your inbox frees up lots of energy in the mind!
