#Taxation has only two purposes: to regulate the #money supply to ensure stable valuation of the #currency, and to equitably redistribute wealth by reclaiming for the people the values of the artificial economic #monopoly privilege grants without which advanced economies based upon specialization and distribution of labor cannot function. #MMT #Economics
