@Remittancegirl The answer is probably "No, not unless you absolutely have to (you probably don't)"...
That's just me playing the odds - since Mavericks came out I haven't upgraded unless I was forced to, because that was the first time the new Mac OS was worse than the existing one & they have been ever since. There's zero reason to think that would change with Tahoe.
