I recently got into some hot water over there when I asked "what is it about Florida that attracts shitty people?"
They were very quick to assume I was taking shit about the state and people who live there, and it took me some time to realize their response was conditioned by other folks actually saying and doing that in bad faith.
Bsky is no better than pre-Elon Twitter in many ways...

@eniko You might get a kick out of the "controversy" around the creator of "The Amazing Digital Circus". The TL;DR is her (Gooseworks), her show's fandom is toxic as fuck, literally hating on her for some of the stupidest reasons.
I was about to suggest just watching any YT video on the subject, but then I remembered the number of stupid YT videos (and BlueSky commenters) are the problem.
