(dev here) The bot has just been updated:
- ISO-8601 datetimes are now accepted, e.g., "@remindme 2025-01-30T12:45+05:00"
- If no time is given, midnight UTC will be used, e.g., "@remindme 2025-01-30"
- both "dm" and "DM" will result in the bot replying in a direct message (instead of publicly)Please tag me @atasfun if you notice anything odd happening, thanks!

Yup, this is mentioned in the guide

Maybe, I'm missing something: On your (btw. really great) site I read:
"It will only send it as a private message if you use “dm” in small letters. The phrase “DM” in capital letters will be ignored and the reminder will be public."... but, according to the Dev:
"... both "dm" and "DM" will result in the bot replying in a direct message (instead of publicly)"
BTW, will this message be visible to you only - because of the mention at the very beginning of the post?

Apologies for the delay in replying, I only just noticed this now!
You're absolutely right, the capital letters are now no longer important, DM and dm work. I've updated the guide to correct this.
"BTW, will this message be visible to you only - because of the mention at the very beginning of the post?"
Yes, exactly that!
