And even that wasn't all that. Americans are in jail in lots of countries. Much ado was made over that woman basketball player, but the 60-yr-old teacher is pretty much forgotten.

I was in Morocco when they were shutting down travel due to COVID. All EU countries had people at the airport shovelling citizens onto free flights.

@debcha @skinnylatte So do American adults, according to my ex. I don't think Americans set out to be ashamed of their country - it just happens after they see other Americans who cannot "read the room", act like assholes, and make every other American start talking about hockey and saying 'eh?' at the end of every sentence.
