Parker g2 - stick or twist

Was wondering whether I should look for another body (maybe metal ) for Parker g2. I have the standard versions and very much like the ink, but I’m unsure whether the body is durable. Also I feel like I would be more inclined to buy refills for a pen if it had a nicer body.
So what are the best bodies and are they really worth it?

Also forgot to mention I am looking for a math pen as gel pens often smudge but bics always run out of ink or break. Thanks
