What are some good places to ask questions about computers in the #lemmyverse ? I want to upgrade the SSD card on my Lenovo laptop and I'm looking for a place to get guidance that I'd like to come back to as well. I think forum-based channels are better suited for this, because other people can find the answers later, than posting into Mastodon. #ComputerHelp #Lenovo

I've had some nice experiences with asking questions on @askelectronics

I also agree with your sentiment about forum-based platforms contra individual-based platforms. Initially I thought forum-based platforma were perfect for every type of content, but I've found individual-based platforms are better suited for subjects like art, where the product is best consumed in extension of the creator
