    AI and artificial butter parallels 🧈🤯

    @nkb draws parallels between the rise of artificial butter (margarine) in the early 20th century and Artificial Intelligence today.
    Just as 1900s entrepreneurs used "cutting-edge" organic chemistry to turn raw materials from the Global South (oil palms, coconuts) into an ersatz product, today’s AI companies rely on labor from the same regions to label data and produce digital "ersatz" content.

      @agnes007 @nkb

      ✨ #AIslop is being used as replacement for #art and #journalism, and it destroys our brains and the #environment in the process.

      🌱 #plantbased #milk and #butter is being used as a replacement for #animalabuse ( imprisoned mothers who are repeatedly raped and have their children kidnapped so we can steal their #breastmilk ), and it reduces harm to #animals, #environment and human #health in the process.

      comparing #vegan products with #AIslop is like the worst take ever. this is what #veganism replaces: https://watchdominion.org
