One of my roombas once ran over a cat turd. Happily smeared it all over the house. It did this because no one was paying attention to what it was doing and we had it vacuum whilst we were out of the house. It took me hours to clean it up and it fucked up the Roomba too.

And the thing about the Roomba smearing cat shit all over my floor?
It executed its programming flawlessly. It vacuumed the floor. It got like 99% coverage.
It did exactly what it was programmed to do.
And it also covered my floor in catshit, because catshit wasn't in its programming. It just knew "vacuum as much of the floor as possible." It didn't recognise brown streaks, it didn't recognise the smell for sure, it just knew "vacuum the floor and cover 99% of it."
Just like LLMs.

@Elizafox I had the same but with cat sick. Luckily it had already done the rooms with carpet. The dining room and kitchen took a while to clean.

Sounds like the roomba should be trialed by ICC for breaking Geneva Conventions about "use of biological weaponry". -

@Elizafox my Roomba Red years ago died after one of the cats peed on it. They never rode it.
