    and since literally everyone rushes to copy whatever trend Apple puts down in design maybe the era of international UI/UX flat design tragedy can finally be put behind us

      It's no coincidence that the last decade of interfaces mixed flat design and Corporate Memphis artwork because they're pretty much the same, unimaginative, boring bullshit

        In 5 years Gnome will follow suit with a new, mandatory retheming of everything to match the new popular trends and tell us now that's the only one we can have, right as they're becoming unpopular again

              @cwebber The image editor that shall not be named does let you change back to the old colorful icon theme (at least I think it's the old one). In fact if I'm not mistaken they redrew the "legacy" icons as scalable SVGs for 3.0.
