@marsiposa @LaNaehForaday Winter squash varieties are productive in Minnesotas zone 4b. Good luck with your winter squash growing season. Squash is our reliable orange colored vegetable success.

it's one of my favorite things.And some varieties are so colorful. I can get lost in a pumpkin /winter squash patch just looking at all of the varieties.

I think it's productive here as well. The pumpkin patches I go in the fall always have tons of different types of winter squash. My main limitation is that side of the garden gets shaded at some point in the season, once the sun is too low. I didn’t think of this when I planted it, so we'll see! -
