Anyways, the parking was prepaid for 30 days through an app. The parking lot needed new asphalt, so there was suddenly 1 week you're not allowed to park there.
Do they use the app to contact you? No
Do they refund your 7 days of parking? Nope
Do they look at the license plate of the car to contact you? Nonono
What can digital economy and surveillance tech do for ME? Nothing apparently 🥲

The happy ending of the story is that I managed to track down a real human with real empathy inside a corporation... so I actually found a tiny pocket of moral and got 4 out of 5 fines refunded.
