Is #GitHub suddenly rate limiting anonymous HTTPS access to code hosted there? I'm getting build errors because some of my Python dependencies are pointed directly to specific tags there (yes, I wish I didn't have to) and pip is asked for authentication today (worked yesterday).

@decibyte Even if they didn't rate-limit you, local caching is your friend.

@decibyte I think I have experienced that. Didn't see any pattern in it though.
