@FediTips hi there! I couldn't find this on the feditips sight...how do I stay logged in when I open a new tab? I've been trying to find things to follow and whenver I follow a link, it logs me out. Any tips gratefully received!

When you say you follow a link, do you mean a link to a different server's website?

Or do you mean a link to your server's website?

If you want to interact with a profile or post, you need to do that within your own server's website. You can make the post or profile appear within your server's website by pasting the post or profile's web address into your server's search box.

On that site clicking the address takes you to the account's page on its own server which may not be your server.

To follow an account from the directory, copy-paste the address into the search box on your server. The account will then appear on your own server and you'll be able to follow and interact with it.
