I swear this thing didn’t give me the option to choose my server? I guess I can fix that later?

I am 29 (recently, and I shudder), I like music of the electronica/indie/dance/alternative/pop et al variety. Pop culture, funny things, good books (when I read them), film, television. I watch too many YouTube deep dives. Lately I’ve been kinda into space.

This is kinda cheesing me out I’m not going to lie. That’s all you’re getting

Did you use https://www.joinmastodon.org? That's a list of instances. You can choose which one to join from there.

You can even just go ahead now and open another account on a different instance without closing the first. I have a backup acct elsewhere.

If you've only just signed up, you might want to sign up again on a different server. There is also a process for moving your account, but if you've only just signed up it's a lot easier just to start again.
