If you want an alternative where you have total control and ownership of your own streams, @owncast is worth a look:
https://owncast.online (website) @owncast (account)OwnCast accounts can be followed from Mastodon etc. People who follow you will see in their timelines when you go live, and can click straight through to your stream.
