    Inspired by recent good experiences and discussions around #meshcore -
    we are going to revisit it in today's
    #pOSTcOLLAPSEnETWORKING workshop at ITU @dasyaITU

    to talk about

    #governance #protocol #freedom #commons

    and of course configure a few companions.

    while our workshops are real life/real people, we try to at least leave notes on

        @sebastian I hope I'll find out which is better for rural areas with lots of forest. And which is better for emergency communication when everything else goes down. We're setting up Meshtastic right now, but if Meshcore is really better it shouldn't be very difficult to switch @laurawatts @becha

          @Szescstopni

          on physical level (layer 1, in case you are into OSI model and such) , there wont be any difference between the two -

          the differences will become visible when you scale, when you organize larger numbers of sensors etc

          Meshcore routing is a little bit better than Meshtastic (but still not good) - and here i m mostly repeating what more knowledgeable people say -

          our current preference is mainly based on social momentum ... are there people & messages? #Meshcore wins (in DK)
