    @sebastian How was you Meshtastic mesh reception? My impression was that it was more or less dead in Denmark in favor of MeshCore

    @christopher

    The main observations is that

    there are many many infrastrcuture nodes - but noone using them for anything. it s just dead silent on the default channel (LongFast). I might be missing something ...

    I wouldnt say that this is in favor of Meshcore - i guess the situation is the same there (?):

    Might the main finding be that - today - noone needs lora mesh?

    Any input and opinions welcome.

    and again, good reading on meshcore vs meshtastic:

      @sebastian There is tons of traffic on MeshCore to the point we had to be very careful with regions to not spend the allowed airtime. EU Narrow band not LongFast. Have a look at the observed traffic here https://meshview.dk/ For the settings working best in Denmark: https://meshguide.dk/#/defaults

          @christopher

          I am setting up some #Meshcore
          nodes today, to take a closer look.
          A companion for my pocket,
          a router for our lab (roof later).

          I can see the maps, the nodes -
          my main interest now is:
          to hear if people are actually using it? as in, chatting? messaging?

          I guess my best chances would be on channel
          #dk-kbh

          grateful for any advice!
          am on discord.

          ps. first messages received on channel #Public, not #dk-kbh

                @sebastian You can see a list of some known channels here https://meshview.dk/#/channels #test #ping for testing. Maybe #dk #oresund for chats.

                      @meshcore_kiel @sebastian yes, that is right. DK recommendation now is typically just repeating eu, europe, dk, (and sub-dk regions like postcodes etc) https://meshguide.dk/#/defaults

                        so, a danish default repeater would repeat to Germany, right?
