    it's kinda weird how Danish people are not affected by the gas stove propaganda like in the US.. except for outdoor grills

    Electric grills exist, but as far as I can tell NO ONE buys them because everyone thinks gas, or even charcoal, cooks food better? But this rule only applies when outside? :BlobThinkingEyes:

      @rune From personal experience with an electric grill I can attest that it does not go as hot as the coal or gas powered versions.

        @fideldonson that seems like a issue with the design of that grill, though? Having a pyrolyse oven that goes to 500+ degrees it's not like you can't make things hotter with electricity

          @rune lack of power is a criticism often raised against electric grills, so there might be some inherent characteristics of grilling that make electricity not up to the task...

            @rune @fideldonson an oven is insulated and is usually connected to two phases or whatever for extra power
