Some asshole tried to report my friend @jbrownesq
-
@latsss @kimcrawley this is nonsense. Ukrainian seperatists repeatedly attacked russian people, russian infrastructure, baiting russia to attack and deal with this until - surprise -russian invaded. We all saw this happening for years leading up to it.
As someone historically literate and educated, I find it odd how people claiming to be ukrainian nationals always show up to say all history is wrong. Its very interesting, but very late in the game, friend. This is a proxy war.
yeah-yeah. Classic russian propaganda.
> Ukrainian seperatists.
Could you please tell me what these 'separatists' were trying separate from while leaving in independent country, attacking infrastructure and people abroad?
> As someone historically literate and educated
you're proving the opposite -

you're proving the opposite@latsss @kimcrawley when you instantly claim any non US state department analysis about history is "russian propaganda" you just sound like a fucking tool.
Are you confused about what a seperatist is? I am not. Separatists - like the actor zelensky and the people he is aligned with, want LESS russian cooperation and MORE american alignment. Its all out in the open.
So the US aligned itself with zelensky and co, and chose him as the next leader, as the US does all around the world.

@latsss CIA had offices in kyiv (but had to move them lol). What do you think the CIA was doing in kyiv?
You know, where the Kyiv Independent is from? lmao The US is funding separatist elements - who hate russians and claim to be the "one true ukraine", so of course this all sounds the way it does.
-
I'm not suggesting, I'm stating. I'm pretty much sure russia is trying to wipe ukrainians as a nation/identity mostly because of imperial ambitions.
More over being a ukrainian myself, It's kinda annoying to me already seeing people from all over the world denying what I'm witnessing every single day or claiming us to be nazis just because russian propaganda does so.
btw. elaborate on your 'hard right separatists' Is that what you call people resisting recolonization?
@latsss @kimcrawley I wonder what the CIA was doing in kyiv back in 2014?
https://www.thedailybeast.com/heres-what-the-cia-director-was-really-doing-in-kiev/
Gee, Im an ahistorical, pop-culture educated average american. The CIA must have been looking out for world peace by being over there in 2014, eh? More "realtime intelligence sharing" am I right?
-
@notsoloud @jmaris @kimcrawley the nazis are literally in ukraine, and the mainstream media has reported it dozens of times. Congress has debated whether or not money and weapons should go to "azov nazis", SPECIFICALLY, by name.
Anti fascists in ukraine are suppressed and censored, as the state has locked down and nationalized all media! THE US IS WORKING WITH NAZIS IN UKRAINE TO START A GREATER WAR WITH RUSSIA (again), you absolute clowns.
@jbrownesq @notsoloud @kimcrawley Nazis are in the whitehouse, not in Ukraine. Ukraine is one of the least anti-Semitic countries in Europe, and the country with of the lowest far right vote shares.
Try all you like, unfortunately your beliefs are contradicted by reality.
-
@jbrownesq
Yes exactly. For instances here is an article on how anti war protesters are censored by the Ukrainian government@notsoloud @jbrownesq @kimcrawley oh no wait... That is Russia criminalising anti war protestors in the aggressor state, something our tankie friends here seem to be completely ignoring.
-
Thanks, now I know to block this server. I've never heard this hot take before, wild that someone that claims to be an activist is going to shill for Russia.
@thedaemon @byte your ignorance to history and current global politics isnt an asset, by the way. You dont have the clout you think you have. Read some fucking history. Ukraine/Russia is the latest in a LONG string of proxy wars operated by the US, and the quicker we all understand this, the better.

@jmaris @notsoloud @kimcrawley not true, and you are immediately suspect when you say things like that.
Nazis are in the whitehouse, true. Nazis are also in the Ukrainian government, and we are supporting and funding them.

There are DOZENS of mainstream articles on this.

and why they are separatists? russia is another country. Like a soverein country cannot make any decisions on who to ally or trade with

@jmaris @notsoloud @kimcrawley ukraine has literally forced people into its military, has nationalized its media, and has LITERALLY put antiwar protestors in jail. I just posted an article about it.
My focus is the fact that the US is sponsoring the Ukraine war, shutting down peace talks, etc. Yes russia's conservative government sucks. Its too bad russians keep electing it to defend them against the fucking ring of military bases and endless russophobia around them. You see this, right?

@latsss these are the types of separatists the US always finds, like the Kuwaiti royal family in Iraq, the Iranian theocrats in the 1960s, the Israeli zionists, the right wing governments in guatemala, much of south america, thailand, etc etc etc. This is the US's effects upon the globe, and when discussing OTHER matters, outside Ukraine/Russia, usually everyone is pretty unemotional and clear about it. But not russia/ukraine. That is still a "good war", isnt it.

@jbrownesq That's your problem - you was bought for whatever idea ussr was offering, while turning a blind eye on not really the nicest parts like genocide, wiping nationalities and doing whatever they want with people.
russia is treating every ex-ussr state as own property. we just don't want to be a colony, that's all.

@latsss the US is losing control of this narrative. The stage of this game is pretty late, and most people are starting to understand how the US is involved with MANY conflicts around the world.
This was spun as "the good war" for a few years, but its too late for that now, friendo. Many people from russia and ukraine have now died, which will lead to MORE endless conflict and war -- which the US will gleefully take advantage of. This is the game.
-
@jbrownesq
> good waran unprovoked attack from russia
@latsss it wasnt an unprovoked attack. I know that is the primary thing you folks like to repeat, and repeat, and repeat, BUT IT WASNT UNPROVOKED.
If the US southern border was attacked as many times as ukrainians attacked russia's, the US would have invaded all of mexico and toppled their government by now. This is something similar. This was not UNPROVOKED and russia isnt trying to "take over europe", lol, as the US said it was.

@latsss yeah, no real debate points, just personal attacks. Typical shit. Ive spent a LOT of time studying history in the last 25 years, unfortunately, and Ive been able to refute some of my own prior beliefs (about russia, china, iran, south america, asia, much of the world).
Its not popular in the US to understand the non america-first view of everything (which is your view, whether or not you like it), but Im here for this challenge.

mostly because it's hard to debate with a growing shitload of self-referring bullshit on a foreign language. -

Ok.
As an american who has lived here for a LONG TIME and understands my state's involvement behind many world conflicts, I would suggest you try to understand the relationship between thew US CIA (they were in Kyiv? Hello? Are you listening?) and the Ukraine/Russia proxy conflict.
