Due to issues with MakerTube I'm now uploading videos to my Mastodon posts as kind of a backup thing (i know, not really permanent). Will try to reduce video file sizes as much as possible. May upload to Internet Archive soon as part of a collection of videos I've done so far (had to delete all items due to not being able to correct outdated info)

PeerTube servers have to do a lot of work to serve videos and/or may rely on third party services to do some of the work.
These problems usually go away after a short while, but if they carry on it's a good idea to let the PeerTube server owner know as they may be able to tweak the settings to get it working better. There's usually a contact form on the "More info" link of a PeerTube server's website.
