ACs likely consume ~10–15% of total electricity. 🟤@mars1024 the electricity usage in India is definitely different in India, compared to Denmark, but here EVs are expected to use 4-5% of the total consumption in 2035, when most cars are expected to be electric.
In general, cars are not the problem - industrial production is. A lot of manufacturing requires heat (and a lot of it), and that is a tough one to convert from e.g. natural gas.
