Been putting the finishing touches on a travelogue zine the last few days.
In late March I revived a stalled project from the 2000's. Covers two trips, visiting friends in southern states (US) and bumming around northern states and Canada. At the time I'd asked a friend for a piece and they'd sent one over. Then I sat on it all for 20+ years.
When I got a new year's card from the friend in February I resolved to complete it. It'll be fun to finally send a copy to them

@OKdad @autorotate_blanket yes! Zines are the future: smaller audience with deeper human connection, sharing for the sake of contributing to common good not profit, the effort required is self-selective: too costly for spamming and slop compared to return.

As the Forkiverse people know, I’m no expert! Based on some quick poking around, I thought a FediGroup would be best instead of a hashtag because that makes the content go beyond your standard Fedi reach. It also feels more like a “club,” you know? I applied for a FediGroup, but they have not gotten back to me. -
