The article makes the point of the strategic triumph, "If Iran manages to sink a tanker," but even little me, in an armchair in California, can see that the risk is if Iran were to sink a US battleship. Why take the risk?
Does Hegseth know enough about Iranian defense capability for the straits to risk a battleship group in defense of oil tankers?
