This is the beginning of my new thread on the sub-topic of Trump and Netanyahu's war of aggression in Iran, the death of mass-murder culprit Khamenei and related, as well as the preceding widespread protests in Iran against the Iran-theocracy.

@kworker What makes you believe so? It is through a local source of very good accuracy history.

@b9AcE it looks to me like the large explosion is superimposed on top of the previous ones, and similarly with the shockwave which imo arrives too late, and the large explosion too quickly gets (and stays too long) in the more visually striking mushroom cloud state.
The first two smaller explosions look much more like what has been seen in Gaza and Lebanon (and now Iran), but the large one is drastically out of place, and seems like someone was trying to go for something like the Beirut port explosion.
Maybe I'm wrong and it's legit, if so I would expect to see more videos to corroborate it since it was so drastically large

@b9AcE also the explosion sound begins immediately with the large mushroom cloud, but the shockwave doesn't arrive until later

@kworker Hmm. I fucking hate this. Things were so much easier before this was even a possibility, before the "AI" stuff.
I don't know, so I believe I will just delete for now, not because it certainly is inaccurate, but because I can't say for sure.
Thank you. -

I had here a video of an exceptionally major explosion in Tehran, of which there are many confirmed, but this one was called into question so since I can not say for absolute certain if it was a genuine recording, even though through a local source with very good reliability history, I feel I must remove it.
Because we can not edit threads to mend splits, this thread now continues here:

@b9AcE also! I truly am grateful you share so much news and media from that part of the world, I'm definitely more informed because of it.

@kworker I was just about to write you again to say that I was truly grateful for the heads-up for the potential problem, but then I decided I shouldn't spam you so I didn't, but now you gave me an excuse.

Thanks! -

@earthworm Even (potential) failures are good, if handled well.

Personally, I actually consider accounts more reliable if they have an (infrequent) error and not just delete (which not everyone does even) but also issue a public retraction. It requires some self-discipline to shout to the world "Hey everyone! I was [maybe] wrong!", but though my anarchism social context I have had practice in prestige-less interactions... or something, so that helps.

@kworker -

@b9AcE medical personal, hospitals. It seems like Israel really enjoys bombing those.
