Not sure if something like secure AI does exist.

I mean there are models I trust a little bit, like Mistral AI but I wouldn't tell them any important information.

If you need Secure AI you probably need to host it yourself.

It is not available in the EU because the law (DMA) says all player must have the same access to the user's data.

Apple claims it would be a security risk to give other AI the access apple AI has, thereby admitting they have access to sensitive data and their users have no privacy.

@nixCraft It could be, I am not sure, the apple ai runs in the usa. And the reason it is not allowed in eu is pi data of eu consumers will be handled in the usa, which is forbidden. Thats my guess.

Not true according to what Apple claims. The claim is that Apple can’t access your data, it is all handled on device or using private cloud compute which is designed to be an extension of your own device where Apple still can’t access your data. When Apple is forced to allow 3rd parties to offer the same functionality, they can’t guarantee that those parties would handle the user data in the same way.

If it it private to apple, then according the same access to others will keep it private.
If there is a chance for the others not to keep the privacy, then it means apple can also break the privacy.
