Very funny screw up by Meta. They installed a keylogger on employees PCs, so they could train their AI. However they exposed the collected data online, so anybody could see what anybody who works there has been typing.

@GossiTheDog “Sources at Meta, who were not authorized to speak publicly, tell WIRED the incident has now been marked as closed, meaning it was likely resolved.”

Meaning they believe they can kick the can into the next fiscal year and promote the bright-spark executives responsible out of range of damage control.

@GossiTheDog I think that Whatsapp and Instagram might also log the keystrokes for this, too.

@GossiTheDog and too many people keep using their products, some even believing they wouldn’t do similar things with customer data.

@GossiTheDog Not funny at all, though. If they can't even be bothered to take care with their own proprietary business secrets, they certainly aren't going to take any care with their livestock's personal and private data.

@oblomov @steamworkgroup @GossiTheDog I wanted to write that sadly no streaming service is streaming this TV series right now, but this is not true as it's available on Amazon prime video 😉
