I am making a collection of sweary phrases for a grumpy but colourful art project.

I'm after things you might say when shouting in angry frustration at a news headline (where an exasperated "for fuck's sake" is common in English).

I will post a poll to make the final choice, but I keep posting polls then immediately getting more suggestions, so I'm trying to get the suggestions first! This is what I have so far:

    Men i helvete då
    Nei, men FOR HELVETE DA!
    For pokker
    For svarte!
    For helsike

If this has landed in your timeline & you don't know what I'm talking about, there is some info about the project here

      - Faen heller
      - Faen ta
      - Fy faen
      - Faens dritt
      - Svarte faen
      - Men i helsike
      - Fytti helvete
      - Helvete heller
      - Næmmen i helvete
      - Forbanna dritt
      - Det var da som svarte svingende

Just a few off the top of my head 😛

        @eclectech
        - i helvete
        - faen
        - helt texas
        - hestkuk (only valid in northern norway because saying this out loud in southern norway will get your ass in jail)

@IvanSanchez I am just heading offline, but I really want to know why hestkuk is so controversial in only half the country?!

          (also thanks!)

@eclectech Northern norwegians swear a lot, and I mean A LOT.
There's a few news articles on this one northerner who went to Oslo (which is south) and said "hestkuk" in front of a policeman (or policewoman?). Jail, courthouse, newspapers, the works.

@eclectech Happened back in 2003 and then 2007, incurred in 36 days jail time. Meanwhile you can (affectionately?) call a policeman "hestkuk" (literally, "horsecock") in northern Trømso and nothing happens.

@IvanSanchez Hah, thank you. I am loving the little glimpses into different countries & cultures that a silly swearing project is giving me. This is exceptional.

Absolutely sure this is not sweary in Norway but I kinda wish it was
