Zuck's assholes decided to bring facial recognition technology into the courtroom, thus providing the means for deanonymizing jurors.

Funny how that works.
Most people would go to jail for a few days contempt for bringing an active video camera into court.@johntimaeus @munin Just talking back to a judge will get poor people contempt of court, billionaires get away with whatever they like. This is Zuckerberg's own product and this isn't the first time he's been defending himself in court, if they don't see serious repercussions then the judge is not fit to be a judge.

@munin put him in jail for contempt

@GhostOnTheHalfShell @munin Please don't filterbust like that. Some of us have words filtered for a reason.
@Cal @GhostOnTheHalfShell @munin
I second Cal.
This isn't some algorithmic hellscape.
Circumventing filters is grounds for blocking. -

Circumventing filters is grounds for blocking.Sorry, I only meant to sort of blunt the word. I didn’t realize this was messing up people’s filters.

Ok, I see the misunderstanding.
If you edit your comment and remove the circumvention, all's fine.
We're all just very on edge to not lose this space. -

We're all just very on edge to not lose this space.It’s a weird space given all that’s going on.. the sharpness of the real word is bit much even for me to take, but what’s going on is so over the top that it can’t quite be handled in euphemism

Yeah fedi can seem to be quite contradictory.
But the consistent thread for a good time here imo is radical honesty.
This way you'll find what you'd like to see and what not.To compromise content warnings are often used; most clients offer the option handily with a button in the editor.

Yeah, the crazy thing about content warning is that if you describe why you’re planting it then the filter itself that people use seems to be doing the job better. I don’t know it’s one of those corner cases that filtering words makes a whole lot more sense.
