The skull pattern was cute, even though I had some frustrations with the pattern itself. I really enjoyed the contrast cast on trick that I picked up from it though.

I made a matching skull patterned cowl! For the same friend, delivered over the summer. Happy how it turned out, and glad to not be knitting tiny stranded colorwork skulls anymore.
